In November 2009, Steve Aoki came to Vienna, booked by Beatpatrol to play a gig at Volksgarten, one of Vienna’s musical institutions. We met him at stylish Le Meridien Hotel just before the show, waited around a bit with the guys from VICE Austria and eventually met Steve, an incredibly friendly gig-o-maniac who plays 300 shows a year around the globe and never tires to give all he’s got on stage. Vienna was the last stop on his Tour around the world, promoting his new Single “I’m in the house” that is debuting his new album, due to come out in early 2010.
We said hello and since he was pretty tired after his trip from Portugal, we were invited to his chambers. I talked to him first and then Andreas got to take some pictures…
