Ogris Debris

Miezekatze, Miezekatze is the tune we couldn’t get out of our heads for quite some time. But Gregor and Daniel, commonly referred to as Ogris Debris, have developped quite some more awesome tracks since we last heard Miaaauuu. Don’t worry if you haven’t heard of them before, you sure will in the future. Why? Cause they sit on a swing. They call it “Sexy Chair”. They use it to oscillate and swing around between techno and house music.

They were great to shoot with, since they were even willing to let us paint their faces… Check out some of the shots right here!

Toph is Trouble Over Tokyo

(c) Andreas Waldschuetz

Wowser, Time Is Passing Quickly…

The last addition to Music is Vienna is great british artist Toph Taylor, the one and only part of Trouble Over Tokyo, a musical genius and Vienna resident (yes, we thought “why only portray international artists when we have so many cool ones right here, amongst us).

The interview is, as usual, in the making and I hope you will stay tuned for more. In the meantime, check out these great shots, done by Andreas.

Uffie

About 3 weeks ago we decided that negligence was not an option for Music Is Vienna and we headed out to shoot and talk again.

This time with crazy little and cute Uffie (23 year old amrican Miami-se living in Paris, signed with Ed Banger and mother two a 8 month old daughter) who was playing at our friends club Pratersauna during their first electronic music festival called Prater Unser.

I was pretty excited to meet Uffie, as I have liked her music since I first heard “Ready to Uff” in 2005 on a dirty and sweaty dancefloor in Club 77 in Sydney. Continue reading

Halle34 did a Design for us!

We were kinda struggling with a lot of things happening simultaneously and we were totally keen on making this a very pretty project. So we spoke to our friends at Halle34 about Music Is Vienna and they liked the project, so they went crazy and designed a kick ass logo for us!

THANK YOU MARCUS!
